Management Structure

The management structure takes account of the complexity of the project, its size, and ambition.

The management approach is based on the effective and proactive participation of all partners involved. The management structure set out in the diagram below shows how each of the stakeholders will be involved in the project from project coordinator to the public. The three different layers depicted show the different level of participation from each of the stakeholder groups.

Project consortium
This consists of the expert group, project coordinator and work package leaders

Project Coordinator
The project coordinator is the central point in connecting the WP-leaders, other parties, and the EeB Initiative. They will coordinate all financial, administrative, and managerial aspects of the project.

Work Package Leaders
WP leaders are specifically responsible for ensuring that the implementation of the WP is consistent with the overall work plan and with the other project components.

The Expert Group
The Expert Group consists of experts in the field of building and building products LCA and energy efficiency of buildings, from industry and research organisations. The role of this group is to support the development of the guidance document in providing energy efficient buildings technical based knowledge.

Project Council
The Project Council consists of the members of the review panel and the professional reader.

The Review Panel
The review panel sits outside the project consortium in order to ensure greater independence as they represent the future users of the guidance and will sign off the final outputs before completion.

The Professional Reader
The professional reader will double check and co-develop the guidance document, from a diction point of view. The person will be selected during the course of the project, when this task becomes relevant. Suitably qualified and experienced people associated to the EeB Initiative or the European Commission can be considered for this purpose.

The Public
The final layer of the EeBGuide Project is the public consultation, in which interested parties will be invited to comment on the guidance document. It will be a major task for dissemination activities to raise interest in the ‘interested public’ to contribute to the public consultation of EeBGuide.
